PASMA, the international not-for-profit authority for the mobile access tower industry, has appointed Suresh Kumar as its regional representative for the Middle East.

The appointment comes at a time when interest in the work and role of the Association is growing fast across the region as more and more companies come to understand and appreciate the contribution that PASMA can make to improving height safety and best practice.

Kumar has an extensive safety and training background and has been responsible for developing a series of proven, safety-related programmes designed to improve the knowledge and skills needed to work proficiently at height.

Chair of the PASMA Middle East Safety at Height Advisory Panel, Mike Palmer, said: “Suresh joins us at exactly the right time. His experience and expertise will be invaluable as the demand for PASMA training expands across the region, and contractors increasingly insist on evidence of PASMA training as proof of competence.”

PASMA’s head of international development, Sarah Nunn, agrees: “Suresh is a welcome addition to the team as we continue to gain recognition in the Middle East. I look forward to working closely with him to promote and advance tower safety across the region.”
